Can childhood memories be stored inside a box?

Squashing the perception that only the rich can afford a safe deposit box, Mr Lee Siow Tsan (photo) the managing director of The Guardian SDB in Seremban stressed that it is no longer true as security deposit boxes (SDB) nowadays costs a meager RM398 annually which only comes to about RM1.00 a day thus making it highly affordable for every family to own.

However there are also plenty of myths and skepticism from the public about the need to own a Safe Deposit Box (SDB) as many would say “Why would we need a SDB, we’re not rich" or "All the break-ins that we saw on social media news would NOT happen to us" or "Hey, we’ve got no valuables to keep”

Highlighting on the importance of owning a Safe Deposit Box Mr Lee also said "You can have a savings account to keep all your money but for certain tangible valuables it would be too risky to be kept at home or in the event of a fire you could lose it all so why take such risk when you can store them safely in the SDB"

Life after MCO would be like living in uncertain economic time that would make us think twice about security issues at home and with 2 million people going jobless after Hari Raya doesn't spell good for the crime rate that may spike as people are pressured to turn to crime and violence for a quick buck. And coupled with the influx of illegal immigrants into the country things won't be looking rosy from there onward.

A perfect timing for taking preventive measures at The Guardian SDB

Let us count the difficulties of owning a SDB at the bank starting the long waiting list, the lengthy procedures, the tie-up packages, restricted visiting hours and etc.

But now you can have a peace of mind at The Guardian SDB when owning a Safe Deposit Box is as easy as ABC…

But first please allow their friendly staff to give you a simple tour of the company.

Secured premise with the security guard stationed at the main entrance at all times where all access points and entrance are being monitored with 24 hours CCTV surveillance system.

Another access point that you need to go through before the staff can escort you in. The bio-metric thumb print scanner to authenticate your identity.

There are all kinds of risk in our daily lives like unpredictable risk, calculated risk, minimizing the risk but the best kind of risk is to take NO Risk at all.
As the saying goes “Sediakan payung sebelum hujan” Why wait until it’s too late only to regret that you should have opened a SDB long before disaster strikes.

Centrally located in the heart of Seremban.

Typically reinforced with concrete and additional fire-fighting system in place

They have 4 type of boxes depending on your needs from the top is labeled as type A followed by type B, C and D at the bottom.

Type D is very useful for keeping bulky files, important documents and etc due to its sheer size.

As the head of the family he truly understands the importance and the absolute need for a SDB to safe keep all the valuables and priceless belongings of his loved ones as one shall never know what may happen in the future.

One person in access area at a time

The SDB room is limited to One customer at a time with no overlapping of customers in a single room as you can see once the staff opens the lock she would need to leave in order to give the customer complete privacy.

Why we can always rely on mom...

Mothers are God sent when it comes to searching for our old stuffs especially when the last time we saw or use it was like a zillion years ago.

Making sure all her family members’ possessions are well kept in a safe place.

"Can a childhood or family memories be stored inside a SDB?"

Yes definitely!
Her son’s first graduation certificate from the kindergarten, her daughter’s lists of excelled examination certificates, her husband’s Hole-in-One of 139 yards hit with an 8 Iron certificate and perhaps her own prized heirloom left by her grandmother.

Sometimes we may not see these as essential items in our daily lives but having it safe guarded over a period of time it can be priceless especially when our children need those certificates to go along with their CV for a job interview. And when that happen you’ll know exactly where to find it at the snap of your fingers.

A total peace of mind

The staff at the Guardian are more than ready to assist you with a simple and quick process of signing up for a safe deposit box.

Why risk it? When help is just a stone's throw away.

Stress free with the ease of retrieving important items or documents instantly.

It comes in different shapes and sizes with rental as low as RM1.00 a day, totally value for money and certainly worth a try and you'll never regret it.

"Why take the risk when it can be eliminated totally"

The Guardian SDB located right in the smack of town.

On a lighter note... Right now everyone is staying at home, the safest place on earth but what happens when MCO is over? Many would gradually leave the comfort of their homes to go back to work hence our homes would once again be vulnerable to break-ins or any other unwanted mishaps.

Many would laugh at this photo when burglars are currently out of jobs but what happens when the MCO is lifted? Who would have the last laugh then?
