Fremantle Markets @Perth.

Winter at Perth offers you the best of weather one can hope for and off we went to visit the small town of Fremantle located at the mouth of Swan river.

We boarded the train from Perth to Fremantle station and then took the free Cat bus straight to the bustling Fremantle market.

At the market visitors will be spolit for choices with all kinds of stuff like the food both local & foreign delicacies, fresh seafood or you make a beeline for the freshly brewed coffee, souvenirs, trendy fashion wears, cheese counter, handmade jewelries, the side walk art gallery and even the chance of petting a Koala bear at the back alley of the market.

The buskers will grab your attention with their unique skills ranging from the playing of an accordian to the strumming of guitars enticing you with the crisp sound of the piano and to the droning sound of an aboriginal man playing the hardwood Didgeridoo.

Just follow the Fremantle line and it will get you there.

The busy façade of the Fremantle market.
Colorful fresh produce of the day!
And here comes the photos of the food.
An array of juicy burgers.

An Italian stall offering pan fried Risotto and variety of seafood.

Seafood with mussels Risotto cooked in tomato sauce is really appetizing and cost only AUD10 per plate.

A German Bratswurts Hotdog at AUD7 only.

The seafood platter of fresh oysters, prawns, lobster, skewered snapper fillet, squids and chips is best downed with a bottle of chilled Bundaberg.

People queuing for a freshly brewed coffee.
After getting all the food & drinks you may wanna chow it down here while reading a free copy of newspaper.

This particular counter sells all kinds of jerkies, pepperonis and sausages and I was really tempted to try the Kangaroo jerky.
And can you spot the Kangaroo jerky?
These artistic handmade Boomerangs & hardwood Didgeridoo make really good souvenirs.

The side walk cum art gallery.

They even have a petting zoo at the back of the yard and always pet a Koala bear with the back of your hands.

The lone busker strumming his guitar and belting the blues away.

The operating hours of the Fremantle market are mostly on weekends and on other days it is a sleepy town.
