What they said about Narayana tea stall@S2 Uptown Avenue.

Both Mr and Mrs Bala seated on the left is from Bukit Rasah has been here many times and this time they brought their son, daughter in law and grandson from KL to tryout the Nasi Briyani and they loved it especially the grandson.

Mr Bala's daughter in law who is a Chinese said 'We really emphasize a lot on the taste, food preparation and service, the Nasi Briyani really impressed me but however the service is a bit slow due to the lunch crowd and the food is a bit oily and cold, they should improve on that'

Nevertheless Mr Bala's son said 'It is hard to find a good Indian restaurant in Seremban but now we have found one and we'll return when we visit our parents.

And if you notice they only had plain water on the table it is because they purposely saved the best for last.
Mr Bala's son said 'The Masala tea is best taken after you'd finished your meal because it will really bring out the taste of the Nasi Briyani'

We all got to enjoy our cup of tea Thanks to Mr Bakhi, the man behind the tea stall.

His signature posture of 'pulling' the tea.
Voila! 2 cups of freshly 'pulled' tea whisked up by Mr Bakhi.

Shobana (left) with her family said this is their favorite restaurant as they would come for both lunch and dinner. For lunch it would be the basic Vegetarian set meal or they would simply call it the Thali meal (see below) as each of them must have one to themselves.

And as for dinner it would be something light like Samosa and Onion Pakoda with Teh Tarik.

Everyone's favorite.
The colorful Thali meal.

Shobana also recommended the fried Onion Pakoda for dinner, something light for the evening.
But Shobana also lamented that most of the time the restaurant is packed and it would be hard to get a table and if we're in a rush then we would have left but her sister said the otherwise as it is worth the wait because they really love the Indian food here and they'll be back again on Mother's day.

You simply can't miss this shop with the bicycle parked outside.

This is Shalini (seated left) Ruby and Daniel with their parents as they would recommend you the banana leaf vegetarian lunch set  while Daniel (in white T-shirt) ordered the non vegetarian set as he loved the prawns 'It is really fresh and delicious'
Shalini said they brought their mom here for the first time and she really love the tea that she ordered 2 cups.
Their father didn't mind the food to arrive a little bit late because he enjoys the comfortable ambiance of the restaurant and his favorite would be the Nasi Briyani and capati.

I asked how did they know of this restaurant and they said 'Each time we looked at our Facebook, Narayana tea stall would be all over it'

And asked for their recommendation it would definitely be the Chili Gobi.

The Chili Gobi is packed with flavor and one couldn't stop eating until it is all finished.

I was ecstatic when I noticed a familiar face dining at Narayana and it turns out to be Mr Raghbir Bhall together with his family. In case you don't know him, he's the Senior Manager of Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad and his work has allowed him the luxury of meeting the rich and famous. And as a spokesperson for MAHB you'll always see him on TV, one of the perks from his job and as for the celebrities well, he gets to meet them all and also ferry them around.

Balik Kampung time is one of the busiest time of the year for all the personnel at the airport and Mr Raghbir and team will make sure that 'Everyone can fly'

The best job in the world is cruising in a buggy with a popular film star!

And here is Mr Raghbir Bhall giving the thumbs up with his family Hardave Singh, Chanrapal Singh, Rugbeer Kaur and Manjeet Kaur. They come here very often for all types of occasion and celebration.
'The food here is tasty and the price is reasonable' quipped Raghbir while his wife Manjeet also said that the way they prepare and cook the food, it is exactly like in India!

And when I asked about the service Mr Raghbir cheekily said "Service could be better, Ha ha ha"

Mr Raghbir's choice of breakfast, the simple Tosai with chutney and a hot cup of Teh tarik. He also said the Roti canai and Puri is equally good.

Mr Chanrapal Singh highly recommends the BRU Coffee "It is a must try and if you ask for less sugar, it'll be perfect!"

And another dish that you should order is the Paneer 65.

This is called the Paneer 65 it is made of cottage cheese and cooked to perfection with 65 types of herbs and spices. And this is the reason they said it is just like those cooked in India.

The Mysore mutton is full of flavor and you must also try this.
