The charitable carriage of Rembau.
Started since 1st January 2017.
Muhammad Allif Ibrahim has been ferrying the needy
from his hometown in Rembau to the Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban, Tampin Hospital
and other places for quite some time.
Allif explained that a one way taxi ride from Rembau to Seremban would costs around RM70-100 and if the hospital appointment is 3 days in a row there’s no way the poor can afford it. |
Average fuel expenditure is about RM85.00 a day and each
trip can accommodate 3 people so the maximum would be 3 trips a day from 8am
until 3pm and so far about 90 patients have used his free services.
Some sincerely offered him RM10 but he will not be taking a single sen from them because his services are free to them everyday except on
Sundays and public holidays.
Stressing on the importance of health care it should
not be discriminated even on the poor and the needy ‘Their health deserved to
be treated like everyone else’ said Allif.
Whoever needed my help I’ll always be there and the
satisfaction I get would be the smile on their faces and a simple Thank You
would suffice.
When En Zaid first uses Allif’s service said ‘It was
awkward to ask a stranger to drive us but in spite of that he gave us a huge
smile in return’
‘I will be doing this for as long as I can’ Allif
gritted.
The phone number 011-1887-6145 is emblazoned on the
back of his T-shirt and on the side door of his car.
Currently they have 3 charitable carriages available
and expenses for petrol and maintenance could be burdensome, they could use
all the help they can get.
