Program amal yang dianjurkan di pusat membeli belah Seremban Prima bersama JCI (Junior Chamber International) Seremban dan Timbalan Menteri Pendidikan YB Senator Datuk Chong Sin Woon sebagai tetamu khas telah berlangsung pada 4hb Feb yang lalu.

Ia bertujuan untuk membantu warga emas, golongan OKU dan rumah anak yatim mengumpul barangan keperluan harian ke pusat-pusat  seperti yang berikut:

1. Beautiful Gate Seremban Centre (golongan OKU)

2. Megaway Homes (Pusat jagaan warga emas)

3. Mercy Old Folks (Pusat jagaan warga emas)

4. Shekinah Care Centre Rasah Seremban (Rumah anak yatim)

5. Si Putih (special needs' children)

6. Civitas (special needs' children)

7. Bengkel Sri Sembilan (Golongan OKU)

Baucer wang tunai yang bernilai RM20.00 telah diberi secara percuma kepada sesiapa yang menderma barangan keperluan harian. 

'Show Your Love and We Will Reward You' was successfully conducted at Seremban Prima on the 4th of Feb in collaboration with the JCI Seremban together with the guest of honor YB Senator Datuk Chong Sin Woon.

The event requires the public to donate basic necessities to the listed charity homes and Seremban Prima management will give them RM20.00 cash vouchers as reward.

Many were queuing to donate items for the charity homes. "Thank you for your donation and here's your RM20.00 voucher" said Ms Wong Shee Foong, the Marketing & Communication Executive of Seremban Prima.

YB Senator Datuk Chong Sin Woon bersama rakan seperjuangannya En Siow Koi Voon juga turun padang membantu mengagihkan cenderehati kepada semua warga emas yang hadir.

Kudos to the Inti College student volunteers they danced, sang and entertained the audience before continuing the next task. 



The most important task of the day is to make sure everyone is well fed before the main event and entertainment starts. 

The volunteers lining up and ready to distribute the packed lunch.

They had to be quick and astute in handing out the food because everyone is hungry and beginning to feel restless.

'Kena cepat ya mereka semua dah lapar dan resah"

Pihak yang terlibat bersama sukarelawan bergotong royong mengagihkan kotak makanan tengahari kepada semua para hadirin.

After distributing the lunch boxes here comes the hard part, to feed the ones that couldn't care for themselves. 

Please pay attention to this guy in the green T-shirt (a student volunteer from Inti College) not only he served the lunch box but he meticulously untied the pack of sauce and squirt it onto the chicken and then he did the same again by squirting the chili sauce onto the rice.

He then patiently bend over to feed the lady bite after bite until she finishes the entire pack and made sure she gets a bottle of water to wash the food down. 

I really salute his attentiveness towards the elderly and his parents ought to be really proud of him. And hope they read my comments about their son. 

And to the board of Inti College please award him with a scholarship. Lol.

And another scholarship for her too. Lol.

Para hadirin menjamu selera sebelum program utama dan persembahan hiburan bermula.

After that Vincent the clown cast his magic spell on the crowd with his smooth talk and jokes that really crack everyone up. 

Everybody loves Vincent.

Saat yang paling sukar dilupai...

The most unforgettable moment...

Lelaki warga emas ini tetiba menangis kuat dan ramai cuba memujuknya tetapi gagal sehingga Ms Shenny Sim (Pengurus Komunikasi & Pemasaran Seremban Prima) tampil lalu bertanya 'Uncle kenapa kamu menangis seorang diri?'

Uncle teresak-esak menjawab 'Saya amat terharu dengan penjagaan dan perhatian yang diberikan kepada saya pada hari ini'

This man suddenly cried and nobody could console him but not until it caught the attention of Ms Shenny Sim, the Marketing & Comm manager of Seremban Prima.

'Uncle why are you crying' she asked. Choking in tears he answered 'I am deeply touched by the overwhelming care and attention that you guys had given me today' 

'Sudah lama saya tidak merasai kegembiraan seperti hari ini' ujarnya sambil mengusap lembut di pipi Shenny.

He thankfully said 'I have never been this happy for a very long time' as he gently patted his hand on Shenny's cheek.

And back to more action.

Their tasks are never ending, the volunteers busy handing out free umbrellas to all.   

Making sure that everyone gets a souvenir to take home. 

It keeps getting better as more and more goodie bags are being distributed.

To keep the momentum going the President of JCI Seremban, Mr Lawrence Fah timely stepped in to get the crowd roaring to a loud and festive cheer. 

Finally all good things must come to an end.

Tibanya masa untuk bersurai kesemua warga emas dan para OKU dibawa keluar ke lobi Seremban Prima untuk dibawa pulang.

Sebelum bersurai sempat juga bergambar dengan En Noor Fadzli Shah, Pengerusi penganjur program amal berkenaan.   

Kebanyakan daripada mereka telah menetap di rumah jagaan warga emas terlalu lama sehinggakan terlupa bagaimana perayaan Tahun baru Cina disambut. 

Dan acara ini telah mengingatkan mereka semula memori zaman dulu dimana mereka pernah menyambut perayaan bersama ahli keluarga yang tercinta.

Semasa mengambil gambar mereka saya terharu apabila ternampak tangisan kerinduan di wajah mereka sehingga saya terpaksa menahan sebak di dada.  

Ribuan Terima Kasih kepada Seremban Prima dan semua pihak yang terlibat dalam acara yang cukup bermakna ini.

After spending more than 2 hours with them I realized that most of the senior citizens have stayed in the old folks homes for too long until they had forgotten how the festive season was being celebrated. 

And this event has helped them to rekindle the past memories that they once spent with their loved ones many years ago and that's what made most of them cried.

While taking their photos I was deeply moved to see the smiles and tears of happiness on their faces experiencing the Chinese New Year mood.

Thanking the management of Seremban Prima and all the parties involved for organizing such a meaningful event.
